Welcome to the official membership portal of the Jagannath University Marketing Alumni Association (JnUMAA). If you are a proud graduate or postgraduate of the Department of Marketing, Jagannath University, this is your opportunity to stay connected, contribute, and grow with a thriving network of professionals, academics, and entrepreneurs.

 

Who Can Join?

Any individual, regardless of age, gender, or religion, who holds a graduate or undergraduate degree from the Department of Marketing, Jagannath University is eligible for membership in JnUMAA. We offer four categories of membership to best suit your background and level of engagement:

  1. General Member

If you have completed your bachelor’s degree from the Department of Marketing, JnU, you are eligible to become a General Member.

Benefits & Eligibility:

  • Eligible to vote in association elections.
  • Can run for any position in the executive committee after paying the Life Membership fee.
  • Access to alumni events and programs.

Fees:

  • Registration Fee: BDT 500 (one-time)
  • Annual Subscription Fee: BDT 1000
  • Life Membership Fee (optional): BDT 10,000 (one-time)
  1. Associate Member

If you have not completed a bachelor’s degree but have completed Master’s, Professional MBA, or Executive MBA from the Department of Marketing, JnU, you are eligible to become an Associate Member.

Benefits & Eligibility:

  • Eligible to vote in association elections.
  • Eligible to run for Executive Member position only.
  • Maximum 15% of executive positions (i.e., 6 members) are reserved for Associate Members.
  • Cannot hold office-bearing positions in the executive committee.

Fees:

  • Registration Fee: BDT 500 (one-time)
  • Annual Subscription Fee: BDT 1000
  • Life Membership Fee (optional): BDT 10,000 (one-time)
  1. Life Member

Both General and Associate Members can become Life Members by paying a one-time subscription of BDT 10,000.

There are two categories:

  • Life Member (General): Eligible for any executive position.
  • Life Member (Associate): Eligible for Executive Member only.

Additional Benefits:

  • Up to 10% discount on event participation fees.
  • Priority access to special services as decided by the executive committee.
  1. Donor Member

This category is open to Professionals, Entrepreneurs, and Academicians who wish to support the association.

Requirements & Benefits:

  • One-time donation of BDT 100,000 or more.
  • May be selected as an Adviser by the executive committee.
  • Recognized and honored as guests at all events.
  • Not eligible to vote or run in elections.
  • Can participate in special activities (e.g., training, research, professional courses).

Membership Procedure

To become a General or Associate Member, follow these steps:

  1. Fill out the prescribed membership form.
  2. Pay the registration fee (BDT 500) and annual subscription (BDT 1000).
  3. To upgrade to Life Member, submit a one-time payment of BDT 10,000.

All membership fees and policies are subject to change by the Executive Committee. Life Memberships must be approved by the Executive Committee.
